admark is the UK's online advertising credibility scheme that allows member advertisers and publishers to promote their support for legal, decent, honest and truthful advertising. admark covers online advertising in "paid for" space (e.g. banner ads) and commercial e-mails and online sales promotions wherever they appear. Members observe the rules in the British Codes of Advertising and Sales Promotion but are not obliged to have their online advertisements and promotions checked in advance. admark was developed by the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP). The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), which decides whether advertisements and promotions conform to the rules, welcomes the admark scheme.
